Forums - Gaming Discussion - Civilization Revolution (PS3 vs 360)

What are the main differences (if any) between the PS3 and the 360's version of the game?

Do they both run in 1080p is there uncompressed sound etc etc.

I always look for a woman who has a tattoo. I see a woman with a tattoo, and I’m thinking, okay, here’s a gal who’s capable of making a decision she’ll regret in the future.

Both will be upscaled to 1080p, neither will run natively in it.

Tradtionally, the Xbox 360 has been the stronger RTS platform (out of the consoles at least.  I'm currently playing Civilisation 4 on PC and it owns).

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

^but it is the only one with RTs on it so far,right?

@ starcraft & brute )

but Civ isn't a RTS game - it's a TBS (Turn-Based Strategy) game

I think the PS3 has a few, but its not as well known for them.

@Lafiel

I agree on the technicality.  In terms of real-world distinctions though, the genre-difference is rarely highlighted.

Lafiel wins the golden apple of knowledge...go you

@Dio
Have you tried the demo? they worked with the controller extremely well.

as a long-term pc gamer I think it's just as important to make this differentiation as it is to differentiate between jrpgs and wrpgs, because although both are sub-genres the experience is soo different, that they cater to pretty different people

The X360 version looks better than the PS3 version, just wait for a gametrailers comparison and you'll see what I mean.
