The first day is not over.

1 with me. In 3 hours.

Because of the Cell in the PS3 one MGS4 sales actualy counts as 10 real life sales , so i'm guessing around 10million day 1.

this game is bigger than people give it credit for

I was the first person to buy one in my towns gamestation.....its a schoolday however, which may affect sales....saturdays sales should be big

In that guy's shop (launch day),

- 100% sell-thru for normal version, 90% for special version
- Complete sell-out for steel-colored special hardware bundles, 2 left for Sony's own hardware bundles
- Not too outstanding normal PS3 pushes compared with the sales of hardware bundles
- The total sales of MGS4 in the launch day alone already exceeded the LTDs of MNG5, DMC4 and RGG3, and just a little bit behind the LTD of Musou 5, the best-selling PS3 game in his shop.

Anyway, tomorrow will be first day sales in Japan. =) And most like +50% of that number will be a weekly sales, just like 60k of DBZ First day and 92k for First week. =]

TOTAL Musou 5 LTD is 410k and MNG5 LTD is 480k. =) But THAT is just a first day sales. =)) And one shop. =]
