The Darkness looks awesome, dont know if ill pick it up for ps3 or not, they look the same.

If you think those pics are impressive you should see the pictures for Call of Duty 4 in Game Informer that are in-engine gameplay running on Xbox 360 development kits, they are beyond anything I've ever seen on the 360 or even in pics for other upcoming games.

Good call.... I had the same thoughts grinding through my head but figured I'd go ahead and take the plunge. there was a card in the box to extend the warranty for 2 more years for 59.95 in the box. It supposedly covers the controllers also and I've read on other forums that they will send you a replacement controller quickly without requesting the old one back...  Keep in mind that is a microsoft warranty and not a best buy or gamestop one.  I know some have said they would rather be able to take it into the store, but I was too cheap to pay the additional tax plus 10 bucks discount (totaled $42).

If you are going to jump in, I used a coupon for buy.com and got $10 off plus free shipping so it was 388 to my door. (no tax) Also, walmart has some bundle deals online if you choose to go that route.

I think sunday is the last day, but they are running a buy 2 get one free on all used games. I picked up about 12 games or so in total -- mostly 360 but some original xbox also. There are some surprisingly good games on the original xbox under 10 bucks... All this plus live and you'll be busy for months...

The "only" good game? For pete's sake, there are a whole bunch of ALREADY released great games and a bunch more on the near term horizon.
