I have 284 in my collection...  I can honestly say that EVERY one of my games listed in my collection I purchased legally.  I am betting that a few of the collections above mine are full of ILLEGAL games or games THEY WISHED they owned.

440 all legal European / Japanese / American games, don't even own moderated consoles, but legal import consoles. Although I'm thinking about to get a moderated PS2, that swap disc isn't easy to use and doesn't even work with Xenosaga My JP PS2 is dead, never had an US PS2 as I'm swapping my JP games, for US (never released here) or European (released here). Japanese games which are only in Japan I keep of course and the ones from which I have special memories

you really do not have to be rich to have 850 games, if you buy them new then yes you have to have a lot of money. When you buy them cheaply (like on e-bay etc.) then you could do i for a lot less money, even though it still is quite an amount. But do think about the fact that hehas games of not just one console so he has been likely buying games for quite a while :D
