Yes, as Bozon demonstrates in this video.

 thanks

Also, please note ALL these guitars are compatible with eachother except On Tours' grip, although you will lose functionality if playing Guitar Hero 3's controller on World Tour.

Do you have any more details on the new guitar for GH IV?

Also will GH: Aerosmith be packed with the new guitar of the old one?

"It's such a fine line between stupid, and clever." - Spinal Tap

"Your Song Here Guitar Hero"... dude, you're supposed to replace "Your Song Here" with any rock song you want.

"The actual playing was made less like a game and more like a cash in, which is exactly what it is."

Seemed fine to me, this point is pure opinion.

"The covers sucked"

Opinion.

"The hammer ons and pull offs seemed random"

Opinion.

"The game had a more metal tone, which is fine if you like metal more (this one is entirely opinion) but I don't."

More opinion.

"They took out coop quick play"

Yeah, this was a removed feature, probably the only thing worse from GH2.

"The character model look like crap, and tried to be semi realistic whereas gh2 didn't try because it knew it couldn't."

What? First GH isn't about graphics at all, they could put the DS version on consoles and it'd still be a great game. Second GH3 followed previous titles and had an exaggerated art style, don't see how you can say they're not similar.

"The game speed changed between difficulties."

Duh? It actually made you have skill.

To me it seems like you're an anti-Metal counterculture ("Rock Band ftw!") opinionist who has deluded himself into believing your preferences actually affect the game's quality.

So quit you're whining and suck it up.

Seems like it might have a sliding mechanism or a second set of buttons.

GH: Aerosmith will be packed with the GH3 guitar.

I think all these will make more money than Rock Band forever. Each new game gets a new marketing blitz, whereas there won't be TV advertisements for every Rock Band song pack. The create a song will be an amazing feature, since there are more than enough nerds out there with no life willing to spend hours and hours programming my entertainment for free. And, most people don't even connect their consoles to the internet, so full expansions make more sense than DLC, profit-wise. Hell, sooner or later they might make a game for a band I actually like, like Guitar Hero: The Residents, and my dream would be complete.

GH4 i cant wait

Actually, looking at Rock Band, releasing discs is more beneficial to the consumer than DLC price-wise.

And hey don't insult those hard working geeks! >:0 I may become one of them.

New Guitar Hero: On Tour blog entry.

... Luckily for us, Red Octane came through. RO not only wanted to make sure we had the time to create a polished AAA title on a handheld, they also felt very strongly that Guitar Duels needed to be a major component of the game… even more strongly than WE did. So the game’s launch date was pushed back and the schedule was extended to allow us to implement Guitar Duels.
