We have about 26,000 members, about 900 of whom have been banned.

Make that 45 banned members

http://vgchartz.com/profiles/index.php?name=&gender=&keyword=&country=&banned=1&order=Name

Don't know what happened, but someone needs to look into this.

Yes, it's being talked about on the mod forums. We won't really know what the problem is until ioi fixes or responds to it.

good, because some people that were permabanned are now unbanned. Granted most people won't cause a problem, but some of the trolls may go back to their old accounts and spam the boards.

It almost seems like someone messed up the clock, which unbanned them, then fixed the clock. That is my guess.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

this wonderful site keeps growing, keep up the awesome work ioi.!!!!

If I can make a statement Montana, mods make a preset time-limit on bans, right?

If the time runs out, they become unbanned, right?

I think we were all lurkers from 2006.  I've certainly been here since the Wii launched...

and Kwaad was the reason I never bothered to join.
