We have had confirmation that it is just a 360 title for now, it is in a few threads

The fact that MS came up with some money convinced SE to develop the game on 360. It could be that they would start building the PS3 version only when it sells enough on 360. Considering the history of JRPG`s on that system in Japan regions, I'm thinking that things could get messy and PS3 might not even see some of these JRPG`s....
So I'm waiting for Sony to come up with something else.

As this is a great loss for the ps3...i must say this.... GET REAL...... sony still has lots of amazing games and not one of these games can compare to "final Fantasy 13" and 13 Vs. Sony is not at all worried by this and i bet has a couple o plans on this.. plus all of these games will be coming to the ps3 sooner or later..they will flop on the 360 those who think other wise are fooling themselves.....

I'm sorry, but everyone with this opinion is DEAD WRONG. Yes, Microsoft still isn't selling well in Japan even though they are buying JRPG exclusives or timed releases like crazy. Why do they continue to do it if it isn't working, then? Answer? IT IS WORKING. Sure they aren't moving a lot of hardware but the PS3 isn't moving any, either. If the PS3 had all the JRPGs that have been released on the 360 so far in Japan, it would be doing significantly better than it is. MS has, in effect, deprived the PS3 of needed content to move systems. That alone is a victory for MS and buys them more time to try other approaches....
This definitely hurts. Last generation we only had to pick up one console, the PS2, to get almost all of the JRPGs and SRPGs that we wanted. This time round they're split across all three consoles and lacking infinite money that has me less than impressed.

But I honestly cant think what they can do. They have got like 5 great RPGs for the 360, and people still aren't buying it
Microsoft are trying very hard to establish themselves in Japan. Kudos to them.
To everyone else that bought a PS3 for JRPGs, you only have yourselves to blame.
"To everyone else that bought a PS3 for JRPGs, you only have yourselves to blame."
That´s the cold, hard truth.

That is because up to this point, SE wasn't really backing them. If things don't pick up after these game are released in Japan, then I would say that X360 is officially dead in Japan . But I really doubt that these games will not bring in the RPG crowd. Especially since Sony arrogance has left it wide open to do so and haven't brought the games that gotten them to the dance, DAMN JRPGs.
