Hmm I don't agree with Snesdude because I loved SR more than GTA SA.

Well it can be better but I am sure they will not review it that way..


SR story is not so serious as GTA IV
SR has more missions and more activities.
SR is in fact more fun.

BUT GTA IV GRAPHICS ARE BETTER SO => 6/10.

Few logical mistakes.

First SR1 is not the same as SR2 just because they are in the same series.  Every indication shows that SR2 will be a marked improvement.

Second, San Andreas was one of (if not "the") best GTA game so its no surprise that SR1 wasn't as good.   Conversely, GTA IV is very much a mediocre GTA game which, given point #1, could easily be outdone by SR2...only time will tell for sure. 

Finally, you should probably check to see if you're actually in the majority before trying to pull off a "/thread" or at least make a valid point.  You achieved neither.

It depends entirely on the measure of success that is to be used.  If you go by sales or review scores then probably not since both of those were hyper-inflated.  If you go by the opinion of the masses then it has a shot, they just have to deliver on what they've shown so far.

Grand Theft Auto keeps a more "serious" side to it, as opposed to Saint's Row.
Saint's Row likes to keep things in a dumbed-down ridiculous fun.

I was just disappointed how GTA4 took away features that were in previous GTA's
And it seems that Saint's Row 2 isn't taking away anything from the first.
Oh, and the production value of Saint's Row is no way near GTA4's.

That "serious" side of GTA sucks some fun out of the game. And Saints Row is way more up beat

Moms,dads, aunts, uncles have all heard of Grand Theft Auto.

For Arguments sake, lets assume that SR2 will be better than GTAIV in every way, (which it wont)- it still would not matter. Grand Theft Auto can not and will not be dethroned- Therefor nothing will ever be a GTA killer until the GTA franchise is done forever.
