Yesterday,  my dad picked up an HD coverter box so we don't lose our signal for TV. We have never had cable TV like Comcast or AT&T or any of that. But somehow, we get twice as many channels as we used to! However, this is not the point of the thread. The point is, have you gotten your converter box yet?

Yea digital chanels, kinda like if you get digital radios you get extra channels over the air for free as well.

I've got an HDTV, so no need for digital converter box. There are tons of commercials on local stations though telling you to get yours now.

And, yeah there are more digital channels than analogue channels, especially if you get a rooftop antenna.

I don't believe America's going digital any time soon. How many times have they pushed back the date now? They have to give out the converter boxes for free with old TVs before they can force the whole market to change and leave millions without television.

DirectTV has always been digital so I haven't really worried about it. Satellite ftw.

 This time though, they are shoving it down American's throats. So it might happen.
