I'll probably get flamed for this... but I'll answer the question honestly.
I sold the Wii pretty quickly after I bought it. I own both HD consoles and I just plain enjoyed the experience on them more. I found the Wii to be too much like the GameCube, with more titles that I don't care for. Everyone and their grandmother owns a Wii, so it's not too difficult for me to play Wii games if I want.
Mario Kart Wii was my final straw in selling the system, and I wanted money for other things. My favorite multi-player modes were taken out of the game.
Maybe Zelda (real Wii version) will convince me to get a Wii again, but for now I'm sticking to GameCube.
However, the Xbox 360 ended up being a purchase that has impressed me more than I originally would have thought. Once all the Halo stuff was out of the way, I've enjoyed it much more. Oh yeah, I guess Halo 3 would be another one to add to the list. I sold it after finishing the SP campaign and COD4 was right around the corner, which trumped it in every aspect IMO.
The 2008 line-up for the Xbox 360 has been one of my favorites in gaming history.

heh lots of hate for the wii! i guess ill join - i also regret buying warioware. the only good games where the high-score games like as opposed to the 5 second games. It just frustrated me

Oh, damn I almost forgot FF8 (PS1) and FFX (PS2). Damn, those games sucked hard. I managed to make it to disc 2 on 8 before I just couldn't play that POS anymore. Then I tried to get back into the FF series with X and only managed a couple of hours with it before I had to stop playing. (at least X I bought with a giftcard, so it wasn't really my money I used ;-p )

I can see FF8, that game is kind of polarizing, but FFX?? Really? Personally its my favorite Final Fantasy, easily one of the best stories out of the entire series.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

My favorite FF games are the SNES ones. That's when I started playing FF games. After that it all went downhill. FF7 wasn't too bad at the time (I haven't played it since maybe '98) although the long Summon sequences were agonizing, but FF8 was the game that made me stop playing "new" FF games altogether. FFX had terrible characters (IMO) and I could never actually like any of them. blitzball blew, so much other stuff too...
I still love the characters in FFIV and FFVI and that's why I still love those games today.
