I am predicting that the 360/PS3 SW ratio will be down to 1.5 by mid-August.

Sony is just grinding MS down bit by bit in this marathon that is the gaming business.

I admit at one point I was VERY afraid & worried about the PS3's future..

I mean its not everyday your console survives even though it lost against GBA in some months of its first year

Oh, worldwide, we have the 360 selling 1.23 when compared w/ the PS3 for software. The PS3 is obviously doing a lot better than what people give it credit for if it is selling 80% as much software WW than the 360 with only having sold about 60% as many console units. Anyway, I'm gonna chill until next week's numbers are up as we inch towards Sony's domination.

In the meantime, if anybody has a picture of japanese game stores throwing away their 360's, pics of melting 360s, or any funny pictures related to gaming, be my guest.

Hmm i'm guessing when the PS3 console base is within 10% or the XBOX 360's install base at least , assuming that Sony actualy start pumping out the 1st party exclusives that all their development studios have been in the caves making and Sony buys some 3rd party exclusives

PS3 has always been HATED with Passion since the beginning of this gen and people will continue to hate it...dunno why

people call the wii hated....but the truth is Ps3 is much more hated

Someday it will catch x360 in HW an SW sales. So what?
What the point of all THIS?

PS3 will totally own x360 in NA somewhere since late 2008. So what?

The PS3 will never catch the 360 in software or hardware in North America.

Who cares as long as Bungie makes their next project on 360(Doesn't even have to be exclusive).

PS2 did 48 mln. in NA.
So, 6 mln. difference (NPD data) between ps3 and x360 isn`t THAT big.
If PS3 will outsell x360 by 30k per week on average it will take 4 years. =)))
If PS3 will outsell x360 by 50k per week on average it will take 2,5 years. =))
If PS3 will outsell x360 by 100k per week on average it will take 1 year. =)

PS3 was outselling x360 in NA since 2008 without any BIG killer`aps, Now, by the end of 2008, when it will have MGS4, R2, LBP, M:PR and maybe FFXIII.... vs what? Gears2, Fable2, Halo Wars, Too Human and Banjo3??? =)) It`s over for x360. These games will be good, but in terms of sales they will be like NG2, except Gears2 of`course, but this game won`t save x360 for 2nd time. =]
