I was just watching MTV and during a break there suddenly appeared a Nintendogs commercial. Not an old one either, it was a brand-spanking-new one, showing puppies with a voice-over saying that those puppies were looking for new owners. And at the end it said at the bottom "more than 18 million owners have already been found worldwide". Of course it's not surprising to see a Nintendo commercial, because they're all over every station lately, but the fact that they're promoting a 3-year old game which has already sold close to 20 million copies seems kinda amazing to me. Just goes to show how much the industry, or buyers, for that matter, have changed. These casual, "for everyone" games have LEGS. Of course we already knew that. :p But I think you'd be hard pressed to find for example an original Halo 3 commercial in 2010, or an original MGS4 commercial in 2011. :p
