I think a good comparson list would be if you only had the money for one system, what could you play instead the main game until you could buy the other system (if want both system)

If you went with Halo 3 (and Halo 2, Halo Wars, Halo Chronicles Halo Petz, and whatever they can attach the name too) then you would have to find a suitable JRPG clones until you can buy a PS3/FF12 is released. Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, and Tales of Vesperia.

If you go with getting a PS3 then you would have to find a suitable FPS, alien blasting I guess. Resistance FOM, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 is about it. Maybe Socom if are into squad base shooters. Everything would else is multiplatform or not worth mentioning.

Having played both Halo 3 and FFXIII in their entirety, I can tell you with complete HONESTY that you should buy a 360.

Um, no. The 360 version has no frame rate issues, and most PC players won't be running at higher than 1920x1080 anyway unless they have a top-of-the-line machine and a top-of-the-line monitor. As for the load times, I can't really compare them, but the 360 ones aren't agonizingly slow like they are on the PS3.

All those are PC games as well. (Fable 2 will be exclusive if that's what you mean).

Has the OP actually said he has a gaming computer?  OR that he would like to engage in the somewhat less sociable arena of PC gameplay?

 


360 guys love to hate on (or outright ignore) the PC.  Face it, it is a viable platform that many people enjoy.

Not to mention it has superior versions of Bioshock, Mass Effect, etc. ;)
