Whoops, one of us made a mistake.

Don't fret, it's probably us. Either way that link you clicked to find yourself here is more than likely our fault. Though if you just went around typing weird URL's to try and find something strange you really have no one to blame but yourself for the position you find yourself in.

Suffice to say we've found ourselves at a bit of a dead-end, and you can go back to the homepage by clicking our logo, or enjoy one of our favorite stories found over on the sidebar. Sorry you found yourself here, and I hope you find something else you'd like to read.

The URL in the original post had some rubbish appended to the end.  This works.

Just delete the %A0 from the end of the link. It's not the first time it happens in this forum, probably a bug.

You would have to be a bit of a desperate idiot to preorder from a high street retailer.

I can see the point of ordering online because once it's ordered it's finished with until it drops on your doormat and you are able to play it + most online stores don't chartge you anything until tehy ship it so you can cancel if you do see it cheaper.

I'd only ever preorder an actual console....or 14 if I think I can make a huge Christmas profit on them :0P

Thanks, goddam windows copy paste screwed it up.

I don't quite see why pre-ordering is some seedy underside of the video game retail world. Of course retailers like pre-orders, let's them know where and how much stock is needed. It helps the retailers's profits more than gamers but they are a business after all.

Maybe it's just because most gamers are young and our education system is terrible but I don't see why gamers find it so shocking that video game businesses are in the business to make money.

For every preorder you make a child in africa dies from AIDS.

I honestly don't care for EB/Gamestops' pre-order system. If people want to pay a deposit or pre-order that's fine. If people want to go to Gamestop and trade-in their titles at a 50% or greater loss per iteration, that's fine too. It's their prerogative.

I stopped shopping there six years ago when an obviously used title had been resealed, stickered, priced, and sold to me as new.

Screw that. I will never shop at an EB or Gamestop again.

If I am going to buy something on the day it comes out, I dont get a pre-order. Half of the time, with the titles I want, Circuit City/Target/Best Buy have some sort of special going on. The only time I pre-ordered was for Pokemon D/P, because I got the stylus.
