I could be wrong but I coulda swore many reviewes knocked AC for the battles being too repetitive... and yeah videogames usually do have crappy stories, but hack N slaher's take it to a higher level in my opinion.  The only ones I played that i'd say had good stories were Dynasty Warriors and No More Heroes... and Dynasty Warriors is a dumbed down story from Romance of the 3 kingdoms, which itself was a dumbed down story of a 1000 page book.

IGN pwnd AC in reviewing n gave it a low score because of that....since then I have ALWAYS trusted IGN the most.

Yeah, I don't expect that to be out till 09. Besides which, by then people might of gotten past their GOW blidness. Some people actually think GOW has a good story if you can believe it. I'd guess people who don't know much about actual greek mythology.

I've seen better storytelling about greek mythology on "Hercules: Legendary Journies"

God of War 3....if it builds on what made GOW2 so successful (i.e eveything) then it will stomp all before it
