Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Mario Sluggers was more casual control than Wii Sports baseball NOOOO

@bdbdbd Theres no analog on Wii Sports of course, but Im a core playstation gamer before, it feels lacking when I didnt use analog sticks in games especially in a full retail sports game like Super Mario sluggers. Seem incomplete for me sorry for misunderstood my post.

OT: YEAH, I remember what you say about upstreaming the non gamer and downstreaming the core gamer to learn the basics of the wii remote.

No wonder there is no nunchuk on this game this time around, this is the reason why I said that this game is more casual than Wii Sports. No analog stick and no button to press just the a button.-----> Im talking about Super Mario sluggers here, since Im used to play with a analog stick. Not because Wii Sports have analog sticks

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

I misunderstood you in the first place. My bad. But the nunchuck was used in boxing only to get the motions of you other hand. Nunchuck really is a non-factor whether the game is more "casual" than some other game. There were no nunchuck in the Wii Sports baseball either. Look, what you are saying in the last chapter is, that (1.) Sluggers is more casual than Wii Sports, because Sluggers doesn't use nunchuck. (2.) Then you say that Wii Sports didn't use it either. (3.) After that you explain that you say what you say, because you're used to play with analog stick. First you compare 1 and 2, which doesn't make any sense and after 2 and 3, which doesn't really relate to each other in any way. The only sensible comparision we could make with the three points, is the comparision between 1 and 3, which you make in the end, basically contradicting your first two comparisions. And if there's no button to press, what the A-button is in that case?

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

This is meant to be a FUN game. Not a game that people compete against each other at conventions for the world title. It'll be what it intends to be - fun. I'm sure that it will have the same thing going for it that most NIntendo games do. It'll be easy to pick up and play, but incredibly hard to master.

UPDATE: Rol said that theres 3 ways to play in this game, though the experience video is more on the wiimote, and thats what this game implement the most, only wiimote controlled. After seeing the video I doubt people wants to play it in nunchuk.

Rol's probably beaten that game and it hasn't even come out yet.

Atleast core gamer is on a treat right now, but I doubt even core gamers wants to use the nunchuk wiimote combo, in just few hours of thinking and watching the experience videos I think the only wiimote control scheme was more fun like its more fun to play MKWii on a Wii wheel >.

I think people are giving Rol too much credit here. All he did was quoting a post of famousringo who found a link with new info on the game.

Don't be too modest. We all know you're just saying that so that we others wouldn't feel bad about it.
