 you make much more money in Norway but everything is much more expensive there than in Sweden. And remember we Swedes pay 35% taxes as well ;)

Norwegians pay 36% taxes +/ - tax aversion from loans and other debt. On top of this, if you reach a certain level of income, you get "toptax" or "toppskatt" which is a 42% minimum and a 50% maximum. Paying almost 60% tax on overtime pay is not uncommon.
Cars, electricity, food and most other general goods are almost twice as expensive in Norway (even hi-fi gear is nearly 40-50% more costly) compared to Sweden.
I have a childhood friend who lived and studied in Kiruna (North Sweden) for 5 years (GIS engineer) and he said he made a better living as a student and could afford more then than he does now, living in Oslo and having a job! (Not the best job, but still, rents and other expenses are beastly over here, especially in the cities.)
When we drove through most of Sweden and Denmark last summer I laughed at the prices of things, from new cars to beer.
The first thing I bought in Denmark was a case of beer bottles, 30 bottles (0.33 litres) and the case for roughly 100 Danish Kroner.
What does a case of beer cost here? 500 Norske Kroner (worth 5% or so less, but still) and that is only 24 bottles with the same volume and the alcohol percentage is 0.4% lower... Yay Norway...

that is why we want the Norwegian PS3 MGS4 bundle for 2999Nkr confirmed (???), along with the normal price in those elctr chains and also "recommended" price by Sony.

Here in Sweden you get the X360 Premium bundle (usually including Viva Pinata + Forza 2) for about 2699kr = 2555 Nkr = $450 = 290 euros.

PS3 40gb without game 3999kr= 3417Nkr= $666= 430 euros

Lowest prices of PS3 40gb bundled with MGS4 or FIFA+Ratchet are 4499kr = 3827Nkr= $749 = 480 euros in Sweden.

Prices are roughly the same in online stores as in big electronic chains.

I think there has, or at least some are very close to the 10K mark.

Finland similar country to Norway (pop 5.3 mill vs 4.8mill) have a few over 10K.

 Hmm no Norway has higher salaries, avarage income is about 370 000kr or something like that. Still its much more expensice, i think i spent 1200$ on my ps3 bundle.

@Slimebeast; I can find a PS3 online (40GB of course) for around 3600 NOK with no special offers (Elprice.no, tag in 250-300NOK for freight), so a MGS 4 bundle for 2999NOK is entirely possible.
I have not heard of said bundle myself, but Elkjop and a few other chains ususally have some good campaigns or sales during spring and right after christmas (as does Sweden with its januari rea as far as I know).
One of my neighbours got his 40GB (without games) for 3000NOK at Elkjop during a campaign, they were clearing out the older SKU.
Average outlet price is now around 4000NOK retail, so a 1000NOK shave off for special bundles is certainly possible!
