It's like no other game in the series has managed to do better than the first, I want this to be great but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

 I thought both of the PS2 Tenchu titles were excellent. Tenchu Z was fucking awful, however. I'm not sure what I think of Tenchu with Wii controls. As long as I don't have to use waggle for the stealth kills I think I'll be fine though. Aiming for the bow and ninja stars should be cool, that's for sure.

Persona 4 is already on the PS2... unless you mean a port version.

Interesting though. Seems like Wii is the home of the Niche games with cult followings.

Works for me... games like that are my favorites. I always seem to enjoy them more then the big budget big hype blockbusters.

Tenchu games were always games on my "Get around to" list when i found them cheap.  So i've got no expectations one way or another.

Details 

- Main characters: Rikimaru and Ayame

- Story: set one year after the riots caused by the Witchcraft Lord “Tenrai”. There are still some evil people behind the scenes that are causing trouble, and gaining in power. There was also an incident involving the kidnapping of princess Kiku (Lord Gouda Matsunoshin’s daughter). Rikimaru and Ayame must find out what is going on with these happenings.

- “Stealth Ninja Action Game”

- developers are saying that this could be the ‘epitome of the series’

- new character designs

- new actors

- both characters have different fighting styles, and “assassination cutscenes”.

- Stealth actions: hide in water, climb on ceilings, sneak around above the ceiling, hide in the dark, hide bodies, hide within caravans to sneak into heavily guarded locations, and more moves completely new to the series

- special move allows you to quickly dispose of a body into water, effectively hiding the corpse

- ninja tools from previous entries return, and have been reworked for Wiimote/Nunchuk control

- www.tenchu.net may be updated on June 7th with info

 Ubisoft will be handling the localization/distribution of the game in North America and Europe.

^Yeah if the game turns out to be good and I buy it, I will be giving Ubisoft money. Well, maybe if the game sells well despite the fact that they WON'T market and advertise it. They will wise up about the type of software Wii owners want.

And this is really exclusive to Wii, or will there be other versions for PS3/Xbox 360?

And with this, is the Ubisoft boycott over? Or is Red Steel 2, a Prince Of Persia game and localization of games like No More Heroes and this game not enogh for you? I don't like the trash or trashtalk from Ubisoft for/about Wii, but they do some good and will the games sell, then there will be more good games, at least published by Ubisoft if not made.

I look toward to Tenchu 4! Looks so beautiful.

I didn't think the graphics looked very good to begin with, but the scan quality wasnt too great. The pics posted by Rhonin have improved my thoughts on the graphics and they're actually not too bad.
