^im thinking f-zero will be a holiday title

So if possible it'll never shown till TGS?

@sc94597-------> What are bridge games for anyway? Sooner or later the current fans of Mario kart will find another deep racing game to play anyway

Bridge games are games that move the downmarket audience upstream.

Do you know that in the same article that we read that there are no casual gamer? only downmarket and upmarket? And upstreaming means making the audience go to upmarket. And what are the upmarket games? the games that are deep like what core gamers play...

Tactical RPG/Strategy- Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Master of Orion, Command and Conquer, Warcraft, MMORPGs
Epic RPG-
(‘epic’ meaning very story based) Later Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games, Ultima, practically most JRPGs
Tactical Shooter-
Ghost Recon, SOCOM, Counter-Strike
First Person Shooter-
Halo, Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty
Third Person Shooter-
Gears of War, Grand Theft Auto 3, Resident Evil
3D Action Adventure-

3D Platformer- Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, Rayman 2
Basic RPG-
Early Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. (Likely) Dragon Quest IX

Adventure-
King’s Quest, Monkey Island
2D Platformer-
Super Mario Brothers, Sonic the Hedgehog
Mini-Games / Arcade Style-

^it sucks that the platforming genre is dying

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

Well there are few games announced in 2007 including Mario Kart so it only means that if there is... Kid Icarus will not be the only one that will announced at E3. Unless most of the games that will announced are third party games which is really unlikely.

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out
