@Naznatips - If you're looking for a shooter with substance, one word: Bioshock.
Of course that's not out yet, but just wait a little longer and you'll find your faith in the genre restored.

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.

Actually PlagueOfLocust the last shooter I truly enjoyed was FEAR, so yes I am looking forward to Bioshock as a game that I may actually enjoy. Games like that and Metroid (which is technically an adventure) are fine because they are plot driven. I just don't like play the exact same gameplay mechanics a million times while having fanboys from all sides tell me that "oh no, this one is different! I swear!"

Look, urnote may post some things I REALLY do not like (such as the "100 exclusive PS3 games" thread, which was absurd and false), but this is just him being excited about a game he likes on the system he owns. Can we all just get off his back? Do we need to pick at everything? Pick at people when they're being inappropriate. This isn't one of those times.

Yeah, it's actually good to see some posts about games to be excited about on other systems, so don't fault the guy if you don't like a specific genre of game.

As for Crysis? While, yeah, I think Crysis will steal the graphical thunder from this game...

You won't be playing Crysis on a system for 600 bucks. ;p

I'd say power of FreeRadicals Engine, which is being built from the ground up. No Unreal Engine 3 here.

But we stil dont know if it is a PS3 exclusivity or just a time exclusivity (how long before the Xbox360 ?)

whatever it will be a good game for PS3 for the end of the year

I think it's confirmed a timed exclusive. Even on the page linked, on the right side, it says:
