Enough with the 2.40 firmware speculation. It is time for Sony to put up or shut up. Every time Sony is going to release a milestone firmware release like a 2.30 or 2.35 people always start these rumors.
Enough with the rumors let see what actually gets released.
Uhh, this is real. Supposedly June 12 is the release date.
Hopefully the debug firmware will leak right around that time too, which means that some serious progress could be made on turning retails PS3s into full Debug PS3s.

It does seem to have the 2d trophies which they also talked about. Looks real enough to me.

Is the latter one in 'some say' class as well or has it been confirmed? Because MGS4 seems to have every feature (well, except for 1080p, which is very difficult to make, and destructible environment which was apparently planned but later dropped).
Seems interesting I say, no matter if it's real or not. In-game XMB is coming, that's for sure. It's just not know when but 2.40 sound like a good guess. Trophies, or whatever they're going to be called, are also kinda sure I think but 2.40 sounds pretty early. Wouldn't be surprised though.
IMO they should take out everything unnecessary from the in-game XMB; everything that can't be used (watching videos, browsing the web?). Well, that's if everything can't be used. It everything can be used it'll be a very different case.
