This new contest pits you against the spin top enemies from Super Mario Galaxy and all you have to do is knock 4 of them off the platform.

Nintendo got some funny idea's for that competitions.

Everyone got a chance to win at them, not only the good racers.

@ MrKillerbees: Case in point, I did it in 1 minute 48 seconds and change. I would have done it faster if I could have just stopped falling off of the platform...

Edit: My best time is now 50.108 seconds. Pretty neat, huh? Although some hotshot with a jetpack strapped to their kart might do it in less than 30 seconds...

This is an awesome idea for a competition, I have yet to try it to see just how awesome it is implepented.

I wonder if it is easier to use a heavy kart in this (as opposed to racing with a bike)

My wife have robbed the MKWii to all herself for the whole morning, so i haven't yet tested it. But do you have to push the opponent down with your kart, or shoot with green shells, as you had to do in MKDS?

Ok, i just had the time to try it.
After first five tries, i'm currently at 26 seconds. I believe, 15-20 seconds would be around the level where i can get. Edit: Now 19,248.

Darn, and I was gonna brag about getting under 30 seconds down to 24.268 seconds... For all of 2-and-a-half minutes, I was the hotshot with the jetpack attached to my kart... :(

Uhhhh, when do you suppose the leaderboards will be ready?
