i dont think its ever going to happen,if they bankrupt again, then they will be bought
kitch: Hyperbole, dude. Hyperbole. Sega has made plenty of great games, far more than you listed, they still have massive problems on the marketing side and unbelievably larger problems in management. They've got no business in the console market and never really did.
gearbox: Yeah, it's true. You work with MS, you get boned.
People talking about Apple getting into gaming: Don't fool yourselves into thinking they would make a handheld gaming device, they already (essentially) have two of them. Their AppleTV line, however, could use a bit of bolstering and is actually a more natural fit for gaming if they wanted to take a slice of the hardcore market in addition to the casual gamers. Really, what makes you people think they'd want to undermine sales of their existing iPod and IPhone devices (for those that assume they'd go that direction)?
You do not have the right to never be offended.
The vacuum for a new console will be great for next gen. Wii has shown that any company can stand up and take charge if they have the right idea and shitload of luck.
The only reason why sega cant get in to the console market these days is that they dont have a hardware R&D division anymore. So they need an idea as they will have to use off the shelf hardware...
Do you have an idea? If so...please write to SEGA :)
Luck? You're kidding, right? It's Nintendo...

Apple + Sega or EA or Both, they need a partnership between someone with hardware experience and money and someone with games experience and franchises.
Tease.

Yes damn lucky...going from the runner up to the runner up (gamecube<Xbox<PS2) to selling like hotcakes while totally disreguarding rules and logic on which gaming was based on since the start (Next console = better graphics, more features) should be considered the luckiest thing any company has ever accomplished

if apple make a partner ship with EA that would help them alot
The data say no! It will be a Big NO NO.... Sega can't handle anymore lost!
Poor PS3 Sales Means Smaller Losses
"Actually, because the number of units sold was not as high as we hoped, the loss was better than our original expectation," Quotes from Sony’s CFO Nobuyuki Oneda.
