Kratos is not awesome, God of War IS but Kratos isn't. Kratos is the Ultimate jerk, he must be eliminated.

You might not find him awesome, Escherichis is probably right in calling him the ultimate jerk. However, it's not often that you get to play a nasty character like Kratos in a game.

well that sounds interesting at least... it's also nice to play an anti-hero once instead of those perfect guys all the time

 Yeah, he's not at all like any other protagonist I've played in a game. He's big, mean and ugly. Not the slightest bit likable. However, he is cool.
