Did I say drastically superior? NOP

IMO I thought Red Steel was pretty good (well for the shooter part) but everything else sucked esp the dialog and the character animations were really stiff. The sword fighting controls weren't that accurate

I don't think Red Steel has any redeeming qualities to warrant a sequel. The graphics, level design, story, controls(both shooting and sword fighting) were all horrendous. I wouldn't mind Ubisoft trying their hands at another FPS on the Wii, but why would anyone want another Red Steel? It would be better to get a good team back at the drawing board and create something worthwhile and original because Red Steel 2 would always have to connect somehow with that abortion of a prequel. Anyone that really thinks Red Steel deserves a sequel does not play enough FPS games to know quality over garbage, and definitely didn't spend the $50 bucks on Metroid Prime 3 either.
