It was very good game.
I didn´t expected a lot, but it was very impressive gameplay,it had co-op mode for all the missions in the end.. and it had RE glamour/flavour..

It was sleeper hit to me

I'm being knitpicky...its a great game. But I've seen more engaging rail shooters back in the day. Its cool to have Resident Evil in any form...

Resident Evil 1, 2 or 4 could all be argued as best of the series.

I'm also hoping for a sequel, especially since this game is one of the Wii's million-sellers.  Plus, they need to incorporate RE2, Code Veronica, and RE4--plus a new scenario connecting RE4 to the rest of the series.

As I say it:  RE:UC was a shooter for the Jill-Rebecca-Chris stories.

RE:UC2 would follow the Claire-Leon-Chris stories.  Hopefully, the sequel will hit later this year and will be much more highly polished.

Maybe there'd even be a lead-in chapter for RE5.  That'd be pretty sweet.

Yeah, the game's surprisingly fun, considering it was supposed to be an afterthought. But the higher difficulties are bloody *insane.* The handcannon goes from being optional to mandatory for some of those bosses...

I didn't notice that anyone mentioned it, but in part the popularity of Umbrella Chronicles is that is was written from the ground up for the Wii. RE4 also may work because its original platform was the GC so it's not a big leap. There is one other RE that was written originally for the GC and has been ported over to the Wii; Resident Evil Zero but it was only released in Japan. Perhaps looking at the success of these two, they may reconsider and release it in other regions.

PS When I say porting from the GC is a small leap I do not mean that the GC is as capable as the Wii (we've had that discussion) but because the basic architecture is similar and the Wii has the GC functions built in.

This game is way too hard. Of the 4 shooters I've played on Wii, this is by far the hardest. I basically completed nothing and gave up in less than an hour.

I don't understand your post. Why would a game be more popular because it is done specifically for the wii? Why does it matter? Good game is a good game right...

Or do you mean that is why people support it...because its a wii designed exclusive 3rd party game thats a big franchise?

I like RE games, but got the feeling this one was a let down. Ill have to check it out sometime.

Only con for me about the game was that it was on rails. I LOVED RE4 and really wish UC was more like it. Good game though. (Still need to finish it >.
