I suspect that we're rapidly approaching the saturation point where everyone who wants a HD console and is willing to spend more than $300 will have already bought a PS3 or XBox 360. Consider that the PS3 and XBox 360 have almost sold as many units as the PS2 and XBox sold at their $300 initial selling price ...

and yet ubisoft announces no decent wii game.

Wii is starting to turn into a PS2. Really the only market right now where it's even close on a weekly basis is Europe/other and if Wii really explodes in China and India whenever it finally releases there this could be an entirely different story. So this shouldn't be surprising to people anymore.

It's really starting to turn out that the idea of HD being big, turned out to be the fad. And that really what Nintendo has been advertising was the real deal. Funny how things work out eh.

And Wii is doubling and tripling in some areas as well.  As I said PS3 is taking over the sales in America that 360 has since lost.  Meaning there is no gaing overall.  While Wii is taking over more sales in general in America.  PS360 are both losing in Japan while Wii may have dropped it stil is retaining a good lead over the others.  Japan market is finished and Wii has won software and hardware there.  Square Enix is in for a rude awakening when FF13 releases there.  

But once again Europe/Other is the only market where we are seeing anything close.  PS3 and 360 have increased over a year there while Wii is about the same or small increases.    This holiday season though will decide that market.

So Wii is the king of all regions now!

S-E will be fine....If they make FF13 a great game...it will sell consoles and copies ala FF7

Not really, the PS3 is pretty flat in comparison to last year in Japan, has almost doubled in North America and the Other regions is difficult to tell because it didn't launch until late March of last year.
