Nintendo Reveals Summer Lineup in Japan

Wario Land, Rhythm Tengoku DS and more!

May 28, 2008 - Nintendo has unveiled its lineup for the summer over in Japan, and boy is it packed! It looks like DS and Wii owners can look forward to some all-star appearances from Nintendo's character family, including the likes of Starfee and Wario.

Here's the lineup as shared by Nintendo today.

Of these, Wario, Rhythm Tengoku, and Starfee are new. The other two were announced before, but have not been fully detailed by Nintendo -- something that will presumably change now that they have release dates.

While third party titles weren't included in Nintendo's announcement today, one company did announce a date for a high profile DS title. Square Enix will release Sigma Harmonics, its fusion of mystery-adventure story telling and RPG battles, on August 21.

All these dates are for the Japanese market only at the moment.

Good summer lineup and all additions I'm sure will fill up the NTSC and PAL Wiis this Fall. It looks like Nintendo has begun to let a few guns out.
