Seeing as you don't like MGS, and no other new games are coming out for the PS3 for a while, there's no point in getting that.

I'd go for the HDTV thanks for the discount.

Well, actually, what graphics card do you currently have? Can it play current games at a decent level?

PS3!

A videocard wont give you much pleasure unless you do some pretty bizarre things with it...

If you have a 360, I would go with the HDTV. It will improve your 360 enough to feel like you got a new console when you play your old games.

Plus, I would hate to ruin games like uncharted on a SDTV. Get HD before you get a PS3 so you can play the games like the developers intended :)

What graphics card do you currently have? There is a generational refresh in late June, so you may want to wait until then. Then again, an HD3870 or 9600GT gives more performance than any game except Crysis needs yet is sub-$200.

I remember when my 7900GT was hot shit.  Good times.  I'm not too used to the gaming PC upgrading scene.  I think my CPU might be underpowered.

I'll do a big upgrade for StarCraft II.  No sooner, no later.

i got an ATI HD 2950 pro right now.. so its average i guess.

i purchased the samsung LE26R8. I love it already!

I'd say get a PS3 if you're especially interested in MGS4 (or some other PS3 game). HDTV prices have been coming down a long time and seem to drop even more. If you're interested in some PS3 game, you won't be having time with your PC.

If you aren't interested in a PS3 game, however, it depends on your PC specs. HDTV is still pretty much out of question. Of course you could get one if you get a special offer but the prices are still coming down.
