I'd say get a PS3 if you're especially interested in MGS4 (or some other PS3 game). HDTV prices have been coming down a long time and seem to drop even more. If you're interested in some PS3 game, you won't be having time with your PC.
If you aren't interested in a PS3 game, however, it depends on your PC specs. HDTV is still pretty much out of question. Of course you could get one if you get a special offer but the prices are still coming down.
