Would you like to see a Wii 2,3,4,5,etc? Nintendo keep Wii name in the same way Sony retain PS1,2,3,4,5,etc.

Wii has been the most successful Nintendo console ever. it would be great if Nintendo keep the Wii name and maintain the success of Wii.

i think the Wii will get one of these 2 followers:
1: other name but with same catchy sound (that people like and not a retarded one)
2: build on the Wii and add something to it (2,3,4 etc. is soo 90's)

Well I do think Nintendo will keep the Wii name, or come up with a very similar name, catchy, easy and lighthearted, maybe somehow related or inspired by "Wii". I don't however think Nintendo will just tag a number to the name, like Sony do for playstation. I dunno, that's just not their style and I think it won't encourage buyers. Maybe they'll just do something like Apple is doing with the iPod, iMac, Macbook etc. You don't see Apple calling it the ipod 2, 3, 4.5 or Macbook 3 or anything..

you got a point there Cheebee, nintendo really isnt the count up the consoles and add a number every time kinda company. The will ride on the wave Apple showed them. Maybe they took a piece of the apple :P or even ate part of it :D

As much as I think that it would be a good strategy for Nintendo to keep the Wii name, I don't believe that they will. I like the name Wii HD. Nintendo always has chosen a different name for every console up until this point.

How know's, i think they will somehow apply that it is a Wii console, but a second edition of it.

Wii HD sounds nice but why choose the same name for a future console that might not even look the same as Wii (my opinion.) Still, I think Nintendo will choose another name.

They'll make a new name but one similar in contrast to Wii.
