the movie FFVII Advent Children was a sequel.
They already have had 2 sequels. Plus a lot of newer FF7 fans are fans based on reputation and hype alone and have never played actual FF7 proper.
Like Leo-J. I still say you should of made him play FF7 when you won that bet.
I have never played FF VII, so I would be very grateful for a remake

It'd have the type of graphics you'd want plus it'd be an original story. It would have ties and references to the original FF VII. It'd also give a new villain you guys could hype. I doubt a FF VII sequel would happen, but maybe SE could take some notice if you guys stopped chanting "FF VII remake!" and instead "FF VII sequel!" |
the original FFVII has a horrendous localization which made the story very confusing and I need a remake in the hopes the story is less confusing
Also, some parts of FF7 were so hard to navigate because of crappy graphics.

I just want to play it again, and not pay seventy-five bucks for it on Amazon or Ebay.
Just port the game to the PSP/PS3 and I'd be so happy

But Seppy IS FF7 in a lot of ways. He's like their biggest character.
Any FF7 game without him would likely get ripped for not having him.
