2) no
3) this summer
"I have two routers at home, and would actually PREFER a wired connection. Is there an ethernet jack built in?"
Yes, every 360 has an ethernet jack built in, you should know that from your previous 360.
"I was using Wi Fi before, but would prefer not to if possible."
If you bought a separate WiFi for $100 before, what happened to it?
And why did you spend $100 on WiFi last time if you have two routers and prefer a wired connection?
We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

Some people get all the luck/money

Just a suggestion, but at this point in its life-cycle, have you considered upgrading your PC?
When the 360 came out, it was a hell of a deal for a gaming platform. It has gone down in cost very little, and PC's have grown in power a lot over the last 2-3 years.
For that same amount of money, you could get a great gaming rig, and almost all of the best games on the 360 can be experienced at higher quality on a PC that cost the same or less.
The 360 was a great deal at launch, and will be a great deal at $179 in a few years, but right now, it's not that great of a buy.
I got a Elite and it's fantastic.
It's awesome to stream your files from your PC onto it with the extra space, i use it for all that type of stuff.
Current Consoles: Xbox 360 Elite, Playstation 2, Gaming Rig, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3.
Xbox Live: Jessman_Aus - Playing: Ace Combat 6, Fifa 09
Playstation Network: Jessman_Aus - Playing: MGS4, Resistance 2
Wii Freind Code: 3513-9191-8534-3866 - Playing: SSBB
Brawl Code: 1590-6125-1250
Xfire: J3ssman - Playing: Fallout 3, Farcry 2
Jessman: Fears the Mangina
Ya having the Elite is great. Downloading tons of stuff and not worrying about space is awsome.
I'm thinking about getting an Elite sometime this Summer. I was just going to get a bigger HDD but I think I might as well just get a new 360. Especially since I spilled liquor on the one I have now (although it still works fine) and I don't want to chance it dying while I'm getting my game on.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
