All the transformers haters, yea the story sucked and didn't really stick to the comics/early show but hey it looked cool and i didn't feel cheated watching it. I look forward to a metroid movie.

Note that the article doesn't mention the picture at all; merely uses it. It's probably in there to try giving us a visual referemce.
The license for a Metroid movie was sold quite some time ago to someone... I can't remember who. But rumours of a Metroid movie have been floating around for some time. It'll happen... eventually.

sure its a game, but the movie has to have a lot more depth in story
and if theres just one main character,and it isnt developed, the movie will suck no matter how perty the special effects are.hence the "say no to michael bay" sentiment

Say what you will about Michael Bay, but the last half hour of Transformers was almost watchable.
The first two hours, on the other hand....

Not directly insulting the people who like his films, but it's there.
See why I say you all just can't follow his films?
And I don't mean you "don't get it" or "don't understand". I mean that it seems the action is just too fast for all of you to follow, and you are blaming him for it.
You all are just as bad as the people who put down video games. And I wrote "put down", not "trying to get them banned". I mean the people who refuse to acknowledge gaming is simply not their tastes, so act a though their opinions are objectively right.
That is with all you people and Bay. Sure a lot of you have that opinion, but it's still an opinion. It's your refusal to admit it that looks arrogant.
(And note I wrote "looks arrogant", not "you are all arrogant".)
Bay has fans. Armageddon and Transformers didn't make money by magic. Aren't some of you people against console bashing and fanboyism, because not all people share the same tastes in games?
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Maybe, just don't make the same mistake that was made with the Super Mario Bros Movie. Boy, that was atrocious. No forgetting the equally dire Street Fighter Movie.

its a fan thing, and i'm pretty sure its just peices of different things put together, the creator may have animated some of the stuff though
