so why would the Wii be an excellent platform for SFIV?

I loved Xenogears, I still have that game.

Of course it'll be on the PC. When the earliest working version was shown to some game review site guys, the only platform it was running on was the PC.

Anyway, I fully expect this to end up on the Wii as well. It's a 2d fighter, so there's no way it won't run if some of the eye candy is cut back, and the demand definitely exists.

Because it has the largest userbase?
Because it has the best hardware and software sales of any console EVER?
Because many older Nintendo fans grew up with Street Fighter?
Because Street Fighter isn't a graphics-heavy game?
Because everyone knows Street Fighter, so it has a broad casual appeal?

Then why do you think Capcom isn't (as it looks to be the case) releasing it on the Wii?
