Quote:
The Company operates Final Fantasy XI, a massively multi-player online role-playing game with approx 500,000 paying subsribers. Sales in the Gaemes (Online) segment totaled 12,098 million Yen, and operating income amounted too 5,880 million Yen

The Company plans, develops and provides content for Mobile Phones, and provides a wide range of mobile content services, including ring tones, wallpapers, games and portals. Consequently, sales in Mobile Phone Content total 6579 Million Yen (Down 13.1%) and operating income amounted to 1758 Million Yen (Down 41%)
Again, Mobile Phone content is still not going well for SE even though they want to focus on that market. No sales figures were released for FFIV The After (It was released recently)

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Around the Network

I would really like to see revenue per console as in Ubisoft and Activision reports. DS should rule.

Wait I;ll edit the main post!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

So Renevant wings is a million seller! We have probably undertracked it by a small amount, as they had it at 1042K at FY, while we, 2 months (?) later have it at 990K, which means it has sold about 10% more than we tracked. Within the 15% anyway.

DQ Wii - Spot on.

FF CC DS - Spot on America and Japan, we have no Europe, so this should be added.

Crisis core - spot on.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

Around the Network

This is shipped, right? Therefore around 52k units of Reverant Wings would be on the shelves, and there's no conflict.

@ paroki these figures are for nearly 2 months ago, so more will have been sold since

So VGChartz is spot on on all these titles, even on Others numbers. Very impressive.

Revenue and profit down all around, but at least they're still in the black.

DQIX should buoy them this year, but they can't keep basing their whole business on FF and DQ remakes and spin-offs forever.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Great, Revenant Wings shipped/sold more copies in Europe than NA. Also the sales/shipment difference of FFCC: Ring of Fates between NA and Europe is barely 10k. This is proof enough to those that think Europe is not an important market for SE and stenghtens further the need for SE to treat european gamers right.
