They also report that the game met with poor Japanese sales but critical success in Japan, the way for all Mistwalker projects, it seems.

I'm assuming this will be Nintendo published, and as far as I can tell, the boxart looks great. The DS is getting all the rpg love lately.

No release date set, unconfirmed, but ESRB rated(so kinda confirmed). Released originally in October 07.

old news, and you forgot to mention that the ones publishing ASH are also publishing Blue Dragon Plus in the US.

It's also the debut of the 256MB cart for the DS. And thanks to compression now, that's worth about 2 CDs in the 5th gen era.

People always say that DS gets all the RPG love but I am not sure about it. I mean, apart from the World Ends with You, what great RPGs have we got?

I say that because I am curious, not that I complain.

 The DS has a bajillion FF and Dragon Quest ports, some random spinoffs, Etrian Odyssey, maybe some other stuff.

 In the US.. confirmed releases for 08 include... TWEWY, FFIV, DQIV, EO2, ASH, BD+

Athough I wouldn't call it authoritative (and there is some overlap with different names for a given game), this is the gamefaqs.co list of DS RPGs. 

For every JRPG that gets translated and brought over to the states before Mother 3 I die a little inside. I hope you know that Nintendo, yer killing me here.

OT: Always nice to see JRPG's translated and brought over here, we miss out on too far too many games for JRPG fans over here.

Also, do you get paid to be a jerk on the Inernet, or are you freelance? 

Most of the really interesting stuff is coming out this year, DQIX, Disgaea port, DQ/FF ports, Etrian Odyssey. There is a whole list somewhere, but it's pretty significant.
