Haze got a lot of hype which appears may not have been justified. Killzone 2 got delayed but is still amazing somehow. I know Resistance 2 and Gears 2 will be awesome and everyone knows it...

However no one is talking about Project Origin...and I'm willing to bet this game is better than all of them as Monolith never dissapoints.

Here is the latest trailer on gametrailers. Anyone else looking forward to this?

I don't know. I liked FEAR for what it was, but it was far from being an AAA title. It got pretty repetitive and boring to me. Hopefully the mech and some more open environments will add a little variety to this game.

Damn, I thought it was the other Monolith...

It looks insanely good ...for Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. Actually it's the best-looking trailer I've ever seen (not having the opportunity to play Halo, etc.)

Nice looking, but gameplay looks tired and iterative. Need something new and original to spark any sort of interest.

I would like to challenge this and say the best FPS coming out this year that no one is talking about is Aliens: Colonel Marines by Gearbox Software. I can't be the only one who has fond memories of the Jaguar classic Aliens vs. Predator can I?

Well be careful where you use the terms "Never Disappoints" :P I believe some were saying that about a lil known company called "Free Radical" xD Whilst I'm still a believer that Haze is going to be amazing, many do not agree :P But anyway, on topic.

Project Origin looks pretty badass :D Definitely on my looking forward to list ^^ Same with Fallout, even though thats under scrutiny from the Fallout "community".

FEAR was a new IP made in 2004 and as such it was not really given the rediculous budgets some of these newer FPS games get so it did suffer as far as variety is concerned. It did however have the best AI in any FPS game and bullet time whihc was new for FPS games at the time. I loved the gameplay and the story package even if the visuals and variety wasn't up to par with some other games... 

This being produced by Warner games and being a proven IP however should have amazing environments and varied gameplay.

Impressive effects with the same old cliche gameplay we see in all Sci Fi shooters. Oh well. Looks better than R2, KZ2, and Gears 2.
