Forums - Gaming - HAZE review (IGN).....4.5

Precisely what I expected, I never had any faith in this game tbh. They should stick with Timesplitters, that's a brilliant franchise!

ps3´s user this was exact wii´s user feel when we see red steel.
And this two games are of ubi soft
i blame ubi soft

I don't remember Red Steel getting any scores as low as 4.5. 4.5 is really bad. I actually hope it's better than that. Red Steel had a lot of glitches but was actually a pretty fun game despite its flaws in my opinion. This just sounds bad.

To be honest, I never understood the hype for this game anyway. Never understood why it was listed with other potential AAA titles. Was it pedigree alone?

The rEVOLution is not being televised

So maybe Ubisoft would pull another Assassin's Creed stunt and pull all those ads from IGN...

Partly because of the developer's fame, partly because it's a PS3 exclusive, partly because it was claimed to be PS3's Halo, and maybe some more reasons.

Reading the review, it doesnt seem that IGN got paid by UbiSoft.

Delayed game =/= better game

I think by now we have enough examples that a delay does not make a better or worse game. A delay is just that, a delay, and nothing should be assumed.

As many have said, games like Kane and Lynch, Blacksite, and Turning Point were much worse than this game, yet got better scores, which leads me to only believe more so that people WANTED this game to fail. I'm picking up my copy today, and considering that I haven't played an ounce of campaign on COD4, I think I may do the same with Haze (even though it's story based lol) and since IGN is the end all (who gave Wii Play a 5.5....wtf) and they said the multiplayer is fun, then I think this will be quite fun

No one thought Haze was going to be Halo except some guy working on the game.

Wow. A lot of games improve after being delayed. Are you kidding? Army of Two is one recent example. It's not automatic for a delay to make the game better, but to say there's proof that it doesn't sometimes help is way off.
