Ok thats VERY optimistic for the Wii and VERY pessimistic for the PS3.PS3 at $399 with MGS4,Killzone2,GT5,LBP,GTAIV and more and you expect the sales to stay the same as they are now thats....scary.I would make end of 08 predictions but not until the end 07 because from here i cant get a good look for Christmas,big game release and the such so expect end of 08 sales to replace my end of 07 sales next Janurary.

Oh i thought you meant like 10-13million which is pessimistic but 19.99million is what i would put my prediction at maybe 18million depends on Christmas.

I don't understand why so many people think that FFIX will not come out this generation. There were 3 FFs on NES, 3 on SNES, 3 on PS one, 3 on PS2, so I think SE will follow this tradition.

If FF XIII flops (at least around FF XII sales or less) then Sony isn't to be trusted, and MS can't be trusted either. And they ONLY put FF XIII on the PS3 'cause they thought it would win. So they can say "Hey, Wii has a good userbase and FFs do pretty well on Nintendo and this is a main series! And JPN sales are great so why not?" And who cares if they downgrade graphics? They're doing that to DQ IX. And it's a MS, it won't scare people away. And another good reason to put it on the Wii is if FFCC: TCB sells well.

FF FLOPPING thats ridiculous no FF has ever flopped.And do you mean by the around FFXII sales 4.94million and under because thats GOOD maybe not the best but good.DQ is made by the Enix part and they dont mind as much about graphics but FF is made by the Square part and they have always pushed the console they start on at the start of the gen to the limits,Square has never switched platforms during a gen they usually switch at the end or start of a gen and i expect FFXIII sales to be very good as the "masterminds" behind FFXIII are some of the same ones that where behind FFVII and that sold 9.72million copies which is AMAZING for any game.FFXIII sales i expect to be around FFX sales 7.95million which was released only a year after PS2 launched and the PS2 userbase was 20million at Sep01 so if the PS3 userbase is 25million when FFXIII launches i expect at least 3million in JPN,2.3million in NA and 1.5million in EU Total:6.8million copies. So if FFXIII sells between 3-8million they wont put FFXIV on the Wii if it sells under 3million there is the possibility FFXIV on the Wii or Wii2 and if sales are 1million or lower then FFXIV will DEFINATELY go to Wii or Wii2.

Nope FFXII was 4.94million according to VGChartz.Well i can get my FF goodness from PS this gen next gen is a 2console gen for me with PS4 and Wii2 if FF switches.

I think it WILL go to the Wii for more money.

Remember:
Low Development Cost+Major Sales= Big Profit
High Development Cost+Minor Sales= Small Profit.

This is why so many 3rd parties are switching to the Wii, and I wouldn't be suprised if Square does it as well

For definite Wii it has to be 2 mil or less not 1 mil. And I thought FF XII sold 2.4 mil...And I predict 2.8-3.3 mil sales for FF XIII. But they might switch....we'll see.

Those FFXIII sales are way too low. The game will far exceed that man. Sony are releasing too many games in Japan, including their all star Gran Turismo 5, and all before FFXIII. The Japan user base will not be that low by the time this game releases.

I can understand you wanting all Square Enix games to be on the Wii/DS, but realistically, it's just not going to happen. They will get their fair share, but not all. I personally want Square Enix to develop something new anyway, like they did with Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 in the first place. Why you would want the same series over a fresh new series is beyond me, what made KH so great was that it was something different and if you noticed KH2 sales were considerably less then KH1.

New titles are where it's at, not sequels all the damn time.

How much does it cost to dev on the Wii?
This weird thing that PS3 dev cost is through the roof isnt true it costs about the same as the X360 dev costs.I would think that Wii dev cost is abit cheaper than PS3 dev but not by this amazing amount people think.
Why would just because the dev cost is high it means low sales that doesnt make sense.You can have a high cost game but it could sell MILLIONS!

FF:PS3 I DOUGHT ANY OTHER SYSTEM
AND DQX I THINK DEPENDS ON HOW WELL DRAGON QUEST DOES ON DS AND WII
ALSO DONT FORGET THAT IN JAPAN THE WII DRAGON QUEST HAS HORRIBLE LEGS AND IS ALREADY OUT OF THE TOP 25 SO IT ALL DEPENDS WHETHER SE WANTS ANOTHER POOR DQ ON WII

MY GUESS DQX MULTI FOR PS3 AND WII AND KH3 MABYE BUT I DOUGHT MULTI PLATFORM FOR WII AND PS3 AND EVERYONE KNOW FF14 PS3 NONE 360
