If all your friends have 360's than it is a good idea. you get to duel it out with them online and trade games amongst each other. Online is one of the most important features of gaming consoles.

BTW: Why not keep your PS3 and save up and get a 360 when Gears of War 2 comes out?

how do you know if a console is modded?

also you need a recipt to send it back to MS if it gets the rrod?

bad idea, after Gears 2 360 has nothing.

PS3 is getting new good games well into 09 at least.

I just called microsoft, and the guy said I dont need a recipt, thats sony. for sony u need proof of purchase or u pay 170 bucks. you just need teh serial number for MS
