PS3 fanboys are hoping it's good, 360 fanboys are hoping otherwise.

So they must make threads whenever it gets reviewed... It's so annoying that every review Haze gets will warrant a thread... Someone should make an official thread.

Eh, I'm kind of hoping that they would have talked more about what is frustrating instead of mentioning one thing.

Personally, I've never heard of the site and will wait for more reviews that talk more about the game and it's pro's and con's to come out.

Still, I'm thinking that it'd probably score a 8/10 or B game at best. I'd rather rent it to see how it is instead of basing opinions just on the demo, but the demo wasn't that interesting (apart from co-op). However, that's why I'd rent it because I'd get into the game and storyline as opposed to being placed in-game without really knowing what's going on in the demo. 

They're affiliated with The Onion, actually. In print, The Onion is the front and the AV Club, a serious, non-joking review section for various types of culture, is in the back of the newspaper. They're actually fairly well respected and known in the world of film and music criticism.

The main reason GT5:P got a C+:

Yes I know it's not mainstream VG reviews, which is why I hesistated to post it here, but the reason I think it has value is precisely because it isn't a mainstream VG review. How many complaints have their been recently about such sites? I agree completely with Rocketpig's editorial from a few weeks ago on the issue. They aren't IGN, and they aren't some random dude's blog. They're serious critics of all types of culture, including video games. But hey, if you personally had to hear of them, then sure, go with mainstream sites.

 Aha, my suspicions confirmed. Yeah there should be an official thread for all the reviews, and what resolution in runs in, as if it matters!

Uncharted - B-

Flaws - "Roots, rocks, and waterfalls look great, but as soon as the camera focuses on a face, the whole illusion is lost. If the characters weren't written so woodenly, it would be a bit easier to overlook their rubber faces."

Ratchet and Clank - B+ (which I can agree on)

"The game's nonstop barrage of quips and one-liners is a bit fatiguing. There are so many yammering characters that it becomes necessary to tune them out. Trim the comedy by 10 percent and give the jokes a little room to breathe."

But I can't on that. They want insomniac to stop doing what they do best and dont make ratchet what makes ratchet.

I am neither a PS3 or 360 fanboy. If I was to choose between the two, though, I'd take PS3. I just thought it was an interesting take on a video game.

I guess a lot of you aren't interested in alternate takes on video games as a general rule. Sorry for bringing it up. 

I read the review and understand that but when you write reviews then re-cap on them you gotta focus on your main points. It sounds to me like they were more tired of having to run the track multiple times bacause they didnt have a fast enough car or make the turns quick enough. If you agree with them as a review site thats fine. You found yourself a site that has similair tastes good for you. I would just have to disagree.

Another example Warhawk.

I'd have to disagree on all levels here. It sounds to me like they are marking the game down due to the players and not the game. No one is forcing them to use the mic. Also no matter what console you play on you get a bunch of macho racist prepubescent boys talking shit.

I don't have a problem with it, but I just think that they could have really explained things and went into more detail in their review. It was mainly just a summary of what they thought about the game and it leaves somebody such as myself sitting there wanting to know more, but that was it. 

they gave uncharted a 67. 13 points lower than the 2nd lowest review for the game.

I did some investigating. And for every Ps3 exclusive game (that I played) they are always close to the bottom at metacritic.
