Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Sponsored Car in the Indianapolis 500

For some of you Nintendo fans who are also racing fans out there, Nintendo is sponsering a car that is in the Indy 500 with Wii Fit on the car.  The driver is Alex Lloyd, car #16 and he is starting 19th.  I haven't seen many Nintendo commercials on TV recently, maybe they decided to spend their advertising money on a race car for a while.

Thought I'd update this even though no one replied. The Nintendo sponsored car crashed during the race and didn't finish. He did have the most entertaining wreck of the race though as he went sliding sideways down pit lane at 100 mph.

I do like the colour, but is indiaanapolis that big in America? I find it ratter boring. BTW didn't Nintendo already have a Wii car?

aww it crashed
It looked like an nice car though

I thought I saw Wiifit on Sterling Marlin's #40 car today in the Coca Cola 600, but I wasn't sure. He didn't exactly do anything to make the announcers talk about his car. And yes, Indianapolis is that big. 300,000 people in the stands and by far the best ratings Indy Car gets all year. I don't usually watch to much Indy Car because it happens when Nascar is going on and Nascar is a lot better to watch. One scrape of the wall in an Indy Car and your day is pretty much done. Today, Dale Jr. hit the wall pretty hard and ended up 5th.

That is two pics of him sliding into pit road.
