I think that WiiFit could be a new beginning for other games too, think using WiiFit's board with Wiimote and Nunchuck for other games: it would mean using all your body to control the games, it would go beyond WiiFit itself.
One very example I was thinking about: have you ever played big mech games like the Mechwarrior series? Remember how difficult is coordinating feet and turret movements using only your hands, even taking advantage of 3D joysticks' HAT buttons and rudder? You had to customize carefully the keyboard and joystick controls layout to manage to play such games and be able to win the most frantic missions. Balancing on the board could be used to control all leg rotational and translational movements, freeing your hands for turret and weapons control.
Also: you coul play a 007 scene shooting with Wiimote while you're skiing with the balance board.
These two examples I thought of perhaps mean that Wii, with the board, could even make hardcore games become simple to play and control and suitable for casual gamers, this would be another revolution, Wii seizing a large slice of hardcore gaming even keeping it hardcore, but easily controllable also by people with a normal number of hands and fingers
