Super Mario Bros at this time is the best selling game of all time. A record of over 40 million copies sold worldwide sinec its release. Wii Sports so far has sold over 20 million worldwide. Can Wii sports sell more than super mario bros in the next 5 years and becoming the best selling game of all time? What do you think

If it stays bundled, yes. If it doesn't stay bundled, it'll probably be overran by WiiFit.

for sure. the real question is can it break the 100 mark?



the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.                           

        PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.                                                                      

  GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

Personally I don't see them ever removing the bundle in NA. It is the definition of a system seller as millions have bought a Wii after playing Wii Sports at somebody else's place.

What's crazy is that in Japan where it isn't bundled it has a very impressive 50% attach rate, 3 million copies sold to 6 million Wiis!

I would be more curious see to see if wii play, wii fit, or maybe even the New Super Mario Bros. could. Now that would be amazing. Which would take the NSMB a year and 7 months to pull off, if it sells as good as it did last week. Of course, this it's 2 year anniversary and it's been selling that good for this long and seems like it will for a long, long time.

yeah, Wii sports is pretty much guranteed to sell more than Super Mario bros UNLESS you also include all the re-releases and ports to the other nintendo consoles.

If you threw roms and pirated games in there as well, SMB would probably have sales in the hundreds of millions.

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

I am actually leaving for awhile for other reasons. When i come back i will create my own weekly discussion on ps3, 360 and wii upcoming games. I will give you my own opinion on new releases. The working title on this forum is Real Talk.

Whoops, my bad there! I was looking at the wrong graph line. Big mistake. More like 3.6 years if you go by the avg and 4.9 if you go by last month. So, nevermind. Still great slaes for NSMB , either way.
