Forums - Nintendo - Serious question - Can you play Wii Fit on your butt?

Squilliam said:
thanks, yea he has some freaky leg things built from what was left of his legs, he does kinda have hands there and he has his arms amputated at the shoulders.

I was hoping to stick the wii mote on a hat and stick the hat on his head lol!

not sure how well that would work but that woud be worth a try.

oh sorry but I have to ask. What happened to your friend?

some games can

Have you thought about contacting Nintendo directly and asking them what options are available?  If they were somehow able to make custom controls for your friend, that would be great PR for them.  I know my opinion of Nintendo would skyrocket should they be able to do something to help your buddy out.  It certainly can't hurt to try, and I would love to see them help a quadruple amputee live a more normal (and healthy) life.

Does anyone here have contacts at Nintendo?

You could, but nothing burns calories like a speed run play on Lost Oddysey... I mean switching those 4 dvd`s makes you move from the sofa and back,a good exercise for you butt.

Blueray? No thanks,i have my wii60 right here.

Also wiifit does a great job at "sticking your leg up" and "sticking your leg down",well worth the 300-350$ total price tag. "Lean left and right" ? Brilliant, never thought of it. Thank you Nintendo, you saved my body!

If you are willing to stick the Wii wheel to your friends head, that practice could equally work for Wii Tennis to be honest, as many have observed a quick flick left or right is ample to swing the raquet. And although it would be difficult to put spin and such on the ball, I don't think most people who play it notice it is possible anyway.

U can try the skiing & snowboarding games on WiiFit & also RRR 3, they advertise but games soo....

Thing is for skiing & snowboarding i don't know how much ur friend is able to tilt, but if it works out for him u can get Shaun White, Skate City Heroes, or Skate It next for a more in depth experience. ;)
