Why Mohh2 was very poor. It doesn't take much to be better. We don't even know when they started developing the conduit.

I'm just saying that if you want this game to impress us and the critics, High Voltage should take their time to polish the gameplay, graphics and whatnot

 


Well his standards are pretty low, and seeing by the gameplay, and graphics in that video look like they are both better than Mohh2's they could release the game now and he will be happy.


no my standars are high, the graphics are way better than MOH:H2, so im pretty happy as it is now


 Well if you are hoping for it to be better than MOHH2 that is pretty low standards for the game.

 Wow the alien in the backround looks like something from metroid prime. Just because of this the game is a must buy for me. lol

lol sc94597 i was thinking the same thing, and seeing as though this thread is so long and I dont know what any one else is talking about ill just say it looks like a faster paced downgraded version of mp 3 set in a more earthly environment lol, if it has some beef to it it could end up having a long life with sequals ect, I hope it stays on wii!

Well I believe it looks like a mix between COD and Quake in the gameplay area with weapons looking like they are from UT, Half Life and CoD, and the aliens look like they are from metroid along with some puzzles. Basically it's mashing all of my favorite fpses into one.

What do you mean by the art style is lacking? Are you talking about the relative lack of textures used in the footage?

 


I don't know, I thought it was lacking atmosphere and feeling, and it could have looked a bit more unique. But hey, it's just the first trailer, who knows. I still want the game.

 edit: I watched the trailer a few more times, and I'm starting to warm up to it more.

 The trailer has me interested but I am not sold on this game just yet.  The Conduit can either be a generic shooter or a standout game depending on wheter or not High Voltage will take their time with the game's development.

Yeah, reminds me of Perfect Dark. I wouldn't mind some more of that on the Wii, although no guarantee of a purchase from a non-FPS fan such as myself...

Still - its a positive sign considering the LACK of FPS titles on the Wii.
