I have no words. Therefore, I use signs and emotions to express my feelings about this thread.

@OP, I think the Wii will beat the DS by a landslide, because Wii Sports and Wii Fit create new gamers faster than Nintendogs or Brain Training.  In fact, the touchscreen can be replicated nicely with the remote, as seen in the DS-to-Wii remake of Trauma Center.  However, Wii Sports or Wii Fit can't be done on the DS.  I think the Wii could break 200 million while the DS is at like 150 million.  But really, I have no fucking clue.  Both numbers will be so ridiculously high it'll hurt my brain to think about it any more.

If an unconvicted serial rapist walks into a public park, and people scream and yell at him, would you tell people to give him a break because people should be considerate?

Point being, we bash people who put no effort foward, and praise those who do.

That is why fanboys are bashed.

That is why ioi is praised (by us).

You do realize that this is his first time on an internet forum. He doesn't know anything about these things. He even apologizes for things he shouldn't have. Your metaphor doesn't make any sense, because he didn't do anything wrong. It's like bashing a 6 year old on their first day of school because they made mistakes. Anyone who does this, should be banned.

The Atari Jaguar. It's kicking butts and taking names. The Odyssey2 and CDI are hanging tough though.

I'm going to have to go with "gamers for 1000" on this one, Alex.

at the rate the 360's going, i think microsoft is just warming up and once they release gow2 they will start selling 200k more a week and in the end beat the wii.

THERE I SAID IT!

the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.

PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.

Ignore all of these them just going on saft. i think this year the wii overall, but the ps3 will win in the end or come in a very close 2nd

IMO - lol, what an obvious thread, coming soon, a thread called "Do You Like Video Games?", seriously though, i think the Wii has already won this gen, whats intresting is the battle for 2nd place between PS3 and X360. IMO

Este tema está tan repetido, pero sigo diciendo que Nintendo ya sea con el DS o con el Wii.

Wii will win by the end of 2008. PS3 will win at the end of the generation. PS3 is the continuation of the PS2. 125 million users of PS2 a big market to tap into, most hopefully will upgrade to a PS3.

last generation the playstation 2 won the console war. The question is who will win this year? You decide.

Well, first up, the console war won't end this year, considering none of the consoles have even hit their midlife yet.

But to answer your question, the winner will be the consumer, this is the first time in a while that we are given legitimate choices i.e during the NES years you'd be dumb to buy anything else, SNES years you could go for sega but in the end SNES was the console of choice, N64 and PS1 years is a little tied but PS1 had more "better" games, but last gen you were considered a fool for buying a gamecube or xbox and not have a PS2 at all (that's not my personal opinion btw).

At least now we have 3 legitimate platforms providing an equally good experience. Competition makes us the winner.
