I would rather see RE5 go straight to PS3/360 and for Capcom to make another Wii-only RE game.
I'm not a fan of Wii/360/PS3 crossovers, the Wii always seems to get shorted in the deal.

Agreed. I don't think the Wii will see this game. Just aas said above, it's going to be trageted to the hardcore, who has the 360/PS3.

Well, I wouldn't mind seeing a Wii only RE game, just not some half-assed downgrade of RE5.
I don't think a wii version would be half assed, just lower graphics. The PS2 RE4 wasn't half assed.

Gballzack is saying that the last title in the series to be ported was not a shitty 'lets shift it cheaply to make some quick cash' port as some companies do but rather a port with actual effort put into it so it suits its new console. Therefore he believes that any port of the current in the series will also have effort put into it so it wont be a shitty port either.
The difference in hardware power is immaterial to what he is saying.
I hate ports....they are a cheap way of trying to make money.
They should either release versions for all consoles at the same time or not at all.
If in fact it is released for the 360 and PS3 first and foremost, then I don't think it's fair for Wii customers to have to wait 6-12 months for a port with albeit downgraded graphics and a few wiiremote swings and actions etc.
They should just announce a Wii specific game, but this will depend on how well RE4 and UC do on the Wii.

what kind of feedback has RE4 wii edition been getting? sorry but I haven't heard anything positive. maybe RE:UC can do it right instead of just forcing the controls, and UC is probably the edition wii gets instead of 5.

Blue 3 - Oh, the first troll of the thread yeah! What a surprise, a Sony fan attacking the concept of anything not being on the PS3 or any use of the PS2's track record as supporting evidence, I could have never forseen this. Amazing.
