Why WOULDN'T it be a playable stage?
If anything, you probably unlock it once you beat the story.
It begins and ends there.

That's the info about Ganon's Castle there. And it does sound pretty credible. |
Bumping again. I love the idea of Ganon's Castle as playable. Dark Samus really does make sense too. She could easily have different moves than Samus (She does in the games), and it would free up Ridley to be a boss character, which is where Ridley really shines anyway....
Micaiah would have an interesting moveset. She's a Light Mage in Fire Emblem, and uses no physical moves really. It would be pretty cool to see how she worked out. I know Bacon would love Wolf to be in too...

This one could have a hazard we don't know about, like actual Primid dropping in mid-fight.
I agree with Bacon that we really don't know if it will be playable or not yet. There is certainly no guarantee. If you really wanted your own flat stage you could probably make one in the level creator.
Personally, I hate completely flat stages.
It was interesting that in Iwata Asks, Sakurai said that he thinks players will come to the premade stages for a more conventional stage...and if they want to go crazy, they make a really crazy stage themselves.
I would think it'd likely be the other way around, as the official stages are the ones that can potentially have the most crazy stuff happening...custom stages can really only be crazy in the sense of their layout, not random sh*t flying onscreen and such hehe. And you KNOW there's gonna be a ton of people making flat, boring custom stages.
edit: I like larger stages, but not totally flat ones. Corneria is one of my favorites. On the top section, you can run continuously across it all, which is cool, it makes for some great pushing and shoving...but it's not totally flat, so people can't spam projectiles, lasers, etc as much, plus the lower section adds plenty of strategy.
But my friends and don't play small levels like Battlefield, Fountain of Dreams, etc so much, unless it's a 1v1. The "standard" levels are just too small for us to have fun usually.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
I think there are plenty of crazy stages already, and I'm sure more to be unlocked(Anyone have the ratio of starting stages vs unlockable stages?).
I felt that, if he feels that the stages he has made(and a majority of them have hazards/shifts) are 'conventional', maybe there will be really deep customization features in the Stage Builder.
Also, anyone have a recommendation on which SD cards to get? I usually try to get 'official' stuff for my systems (When I first got the Wii, I bought a Gamestop Gamecube controller... After finishing Super Mario Sunshine, the joystiq had already broken).
Will any SD card do?
any SD card should do, really. You can probably get a cheaper SD card if it's not "Wii-labeled." Plus those are usually only 1 GB I think. You can pick up a 2 or 4 GB...whatever suits you.

Well, so far we have 28 stages on the Dojo. 29 if you count FD. We don't know how many total stages there are.
and Ben, I personally love the smaller stages, despite Corneria being my favorite stage in Melee. In Brawl, I hope to create a stage the size of DK's rock in Kongo Jungle in Melee. 4 player will be so hilarious on a stage that tiny! XD Smaller stages have so much more action IMO.
